Success in the Music and Performing Arts industry comes from leading change, not following it.
For 50 years The Australian Institute of Music has been at the forefront of education in the Australian Music and Performing Arts industries and prides itself on empowering its students by delivering a combination of practical knowledge, skills and industry experience. Our key mission as an institution is to not only facilitate our students finding meaningful careers that they are genuinely passionate about but to also instil in them an innovative and entrepreneurial spirit which will allow them to push the boundaries of their industries.
So, what makes AIM different?
As a not-for-profit organisation, the Australian Institute of Music is committed to providing the most effective and beneficial learning environment for our students by constantly upgrading our facilities and equipment to be at the forefront of the industry, as well as providing teachers that have volumes of practical and teaching experience in their industries so that our students are extremely prepared and able to smoothly enter the workforce at the conclusion of their studies.
Because AIM only teaches music and theatre based courses, students are constantly surrounded (and challenged) by fellow musicians, producers and performers who all share the same passion and drive to express themselves as creatively as possible. As an Institution, AIM does all it can to foster and encourage all students to fully realise their creative potential.
