Global Mobility Program from Taylor’s Hospitality. Taylor’s University offers a unique program called Global Mobility Program. This program is intended for local and international students and aims to provide extra value to the students. Having international experience will provide added value for the graduates and enrich their experience.
Students can participate in this program for one or two semesters at a foreign university that work together with Taylor’s. There are two programs offered; Student Exchange Program and the Study Abroad Program.
Student Exchange Program is a credit-bearing program which students have the opportunity to study at the partnered university of choice for a maximum of two semesters. Students will not be charged extra by the foreign institutions, but remains obligated to pay the tuition fees at Taylor’s. The credit taken will be added to the numbers of credit the students already have.
For students who want to experience being a student at foreign universities, there is Study Abroad program where students register and pay the foreign universities tuition fee. The duration for this program range from one to two semesters. Total credits taken there will be added with the student’s current numbers of credit.
Then, what are the requirements for this program? Students must complete at least one year at Taylor’s University with minimum GPA of 2.5 and quite fluent in English to be able to join this program.
Studying in a different environment and lifestyle can certainly be a challenge for students. Students can be more open-minded and respectful towards other cultures. They can also expand their network both with local and international students.
