Entry requirements: 

A good second-class honours degree (or equivalent from a university outside the UK) normally, but not exclusively, in archaeology, anthropology, history, forensic science or biology.

IELTS:

6.5 overall with no element less than 5.5 (or equivalent)

- Candidate must be study on a full-time basis.

- The scholarships in this scheme are awarded primarily on the basis of previous academic accomplishment.

- You are normally required to have a good undergraduate Honours degree (or equivalent from a university outside the UK). Applications should include a portfolio of current work, a written statement about your practice and a programme of research you wish to pursue through the degree.

IELTS: 

7.0 overall with at least 6.0 in each section (or equivalent).

*Notes:

- Some study programs have conditions in relevant design or design subjects or exceptional candidates without such a degree, convincing evidence of professional and relevant experience. Candidates will be asked to provide portfolios and examples of academic writing as part of the application process.

University of Reading provides a £2500 discount of tuition fees for the International Foundation Programme (IFP) year and is open for all non-sponsored international fee paying students to apply.

Eligibility:

1. Need to have accepted their offer for the IFP.

2. Need to submit a scholarship application via the Me@Reading Applicant portal. This application will involve submitting an essay with a maximum of 3000 characters (approximately 500 words) explaining their suitability as an IFP Ambassador.

3. Demonstrate an interest in helping with IFP promotional activities, which may include social media promotion and marketing activities.

Application Submission Deadlines:

1. IFP September entry: 4th August 2019

2. IFP January entry: 24th November 2019

3. IFLP July entry: 9th June 2019

4. IFLP September entry: 4th August 2019
