The Scholarship is an annual tuition fee discount for the full time. The value of the Scholarship is determined by the applicant’s equivalent Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR or UWA weighted average mark (WAM).

ATAR 85 - 89.99 AUD$5,000 per year Up to AUD$15,000 value
ATAR 90 or higher AUD$10,000 per year Up to AUD$30,000 value

Eligible students are those who:

1. are a citizen from India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand or Vietnam and meet the criteria for entry at UWA;

2. are commencing an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree within the of study areas of Commerce, Engineering, Computer Science or Data Science at the University in Semester 1, 2019 or Semester 2, 2019; and

3. have not submitted previous university study for credit towards their intended degree course at the University

How to Apply:

Eligible applicants to the University will be automatically considered for the Scholarship and do not need to submit a separate application.

Method of Payment:

The Scholarship is provided as a fee discount towards eligible course fees, with half the annual value allocated each semester.

Conditions:

- The offer of the Scholarship must be accepted by the date specified in the letter of offer

- If the offer is not accepted within 30 days of the offer being made, the offer of the Scholarship may be withdrawn at the University’s discretion

- The Scholarship may not be held concurrently with any other scholarship or award

The student must:

- not apply for advanced standing or post-admission credit

- continue to meet the eligibility requirements of these conditions; and

- make satisfactory progress in accordance with the rules for the course for which the Scholarship is awarded;

2. are commencing an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree within the of study areas of Commerce, Engineering, Computer Science or Data Science at the University in Semester 1, 2019 or Semester 2, 2019
