HCIS: Sekolah kelas dunia terkemuka Internasional Baccalaureate yang menawarkan perspektif global dan Asia yang unik, didirikan pada tahun 2005, Hwa Chong International School (HCIS) adalah anggota keluarga sekolah Hwa Chong. Sebagai sekolah internasional lokal, setengah dari siswa adalah warga negara Singapura atau Penduduk Permanen, persyaratan dari Departemen Pendidikan (Singapura). 50% lainnya terdiri dari siswa internasional lebih dari 20 negara. Major Strength : One of the school’s strengths lies in the learning of Chinese for students who have little or no exposure to the language. The school’s exceptionally good performance at IBDP is attributable to a supportive learning environment for the language, a flexible curriculum and teaching pedagogies pegged to the learning ability of students.
Programme name : HCIS offers a 6-year programme that culminates in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). The school aims to maximise the learning outcomes of every student, to benefit the most out of an IB learning experience, according to individual potential and readiness. At the end of Year 3, students who wish to explore alternative pathways so as to connect to other education systems may opt to take the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations in Year 4.
