Universitas Swinburne Kampus Sarawak didirikan di Kuching, Sarawak pada tahun 2000. Kampus utama berlokasi di Melbourne, Australia. Universitas Swinburne unggul dalam program yang berkaitan dengan teknologi. Swinburne baru-baru ini dinilai Times Higher Education sebagai satu dari 100 universitas top dunia dibawah usia 50 tahun.
