Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus was established in Kuching, Sarawak, in 2000. Its home campus is in Melbourne, Australia. Swinburne University is top-notch when it comes to courses that are technology-related. It was recently ranked by Times Higher Education as one of the world’s top 100 universities under the age of 50. THE and the Academic Ranking of World Universities also ranked Swinburne among the top three percent of universities in the world.

The Sarawak campus currently has about 4,000 students from more than 60 countries pursuing courses in business, computing, design, engineering and science. Ranging from foundation, bachelors and postgraduate degrees, these courses are identical to those at its Australian campus. Upon completion students are awarded the same internationally recognised parchment.
