Taylor's University is a private university in Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. It was founded in 1969 as a college, was awarded university college status in 2006, and university status in 2010. Taylor's University is a member of the Taylor's Education Group which comprises Taylor's College, Garden International School, Sri Garden International Schools, Australian International School Malaysia, Nexus International School Putrajaya, Nexus International School Singapore and Taylor's International School.
In July 2010, Taylor's University was rated 'Tier 5: Excellent' by the Ministry of Higher Education in the 2009 Malaysian Qualifications Agency Rating System for Malaysian Higher Education Institutions (SETARA '09), which measures the quality of teaching and learning at the undergraduate level in universities and university colleges in Malaysia.
Throughout their course of study, students will also have various opportunities to enhance their employability and practice their networking skills via various platforms such as part-time employment, work experience, industrial visits/Field trips, etc. Taylor's industry-relevant curricula as well as smart partnerships with the industry's best, have resulted in 97% of the graduates being employed within six months of graduation (Taylor's Graduate Employability Study 2012).
Taylor's University offers courses in tertiary education, from foundation and diploma to degree, post-graduate and professional programs. It offers 15 undergraduate programs and 10 postgraduate programs.
