City University London or CLU was founded in 1894 as the Northampton Institute and gained university status in 1966. In 2010, CLU and INTO established INTO CLU that help student preparing for degrees at City University. It provides a wide-range of academic courses specifically designed for international students. INTO CLU offers guaranteed progression to the University which is home to the world-renowned Cass Business School.

In 2010, the University was placed in the top five per cent of world universities by Times Higher Education World University 2010. The last national Research Assessment Exercise in 2008 found over 80 per cent of research carried out at City to be recognised internationally, and a significant proportion to be world leading.

As a student enrolling at INTO City, students are effectively a City student and so will have full access to City University London's facilities. Courses at INTO City are validated by the University, which provides assurance of the quality and standards of education. T he program provides academic preparation for first year undergraduate entry and ensures the student meet the English language requirements for their chosen degree program.

CLU is a public research university located in the heart of London, within easy reach of several central Underground stations and just a few stops from the British Library and the West End. The campus has five Schools; Cass Business School, School of Arts and Social Sciences, School of Health Sciences, School of Mathematics, Computer Science & Engineering, and the City Law School.
