Edmonds Community College was founded in 1967. Located in Lynwood, Seattle, this college's mission is to support students in the learning process through a positive and nurturing environment. One concrete action to live up to this mission is by joining Achieving the Dream, which is a movement supporting community college students to thrive, especially students of color and the less fortunate.
This community college deserves to be proud since it has already been accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and received student aid as much as $24,738,871 in 2012-2013. This community college continuously stays true to its mission in terms of helping students to seize opportunities and eventually lead them to success.
Programs in this university include 74 associate degrees with 54 professional certificates in 31 programs of study. Programs that are highly preferred by many are Associate of Arts/Associate of Science, Paralegal, Allied Health (pre-nursing degree), Business/Accounting, Construction Management, and Culinary Arts.
