I had fun times at BCUIC. The tutors were very helpful, and I enjoyed getting creative and receiving essential preparation for University. I had no art knowledge at all before coming to BCUIC, and I learnt so much – such a broad spectrum of skills and techniques. BCUIC has really good facilities – including a dedicated textiles workshop and screen-printing equipment – as it used to be an art college.
The tutors at the University are also really helpful. My degree is with the School of Visual Communication but I can use facilities from the other schools – such as sewing machines from the School of Fashion and Textiles, and laser cutters from the School of Design.
It’s been an eye-opening experience!
