ISC The University of Sheffield

Every year, the University awards 18 top performing students at the International College a progression scholarship worth £1,000.

1. Scholarships are cumulative so can be awarded in addition to other scholarships.

2. Scholarships apply throughout all years of study, as long as the student maintains a GPA of 60% or more.

The scholarships are competitive awards worth 50% of the tuition fee for an undergraduate degree programme starting in September 2020.

Eligibility:

1. Your programme must be scheduled to commence at the University of Sheffield in September 2020.

2. You must receive an offer for a course studied in full at the University of Sheffield. All undergraduate degree courses are eligible with the exceptions of Medicine (A100/A101) and Dentistry (A200).

3. For tuition fee purposes you must be self-funded and eligible to pay the overseas tuition fee.

4. You must not be a sponsored student*.

5. You must enter a degree programme at the University of Sheffield in programme year 1 or year 2.

6. For scholarship purposes all MArch programmes are considered as postgraduate taught programmes and are not eligible for this or any other undergraduate scholarship.

7. The University of Sheffield reserves the right to review and change scholarship provision.

Notes:

1. The deadline for scholarship applications is 13:00 (UK time) on Monday 4 May 2020.

2. Scholarship results will be announced by 16:00 (UK time) on Friday 22 May 2020.

* Sponsored student is defined as being in receipt of a total sum of funds that matches or exceeds the original tuition fee required by the University, before any scholarships, discounts or rewards are applied.

We are delighted to offer 125 International Postgraduate Taught Merit Scholarships in 2020.

Each scholarship is a competitive award worth 25% of the original tuition fee for a postgraduate taught programme starting in September 2020.

Elibility:

1. Your programme must commence at the University of Sheffield in September 2020.

2. Distance learning courses are ineligible for a merit scholarship.

3. You must receive an offer for a course studied in full at the University of Sheffield.

4. All Crossways courses and Erasmus Mundus courses are ineligible for a merit scholarship.

5. For tuition fee purposes you must be self-funded and required to pay the overseas tuition fee.

6. You must not be a sponsored student*.

7. For scholarship purposes all MArch programmes are considered as postgraduate taught programmes and are not eligible for undergraduate scholarships.

8. Anyone studying a Masters/integrated PhD programme is eligible for a merit scholarship in the Masters element of the programme only.

9. These scholarships are not applicable to any postgraduate courses where the higher clinical fee is applicable. This includes, but is not exclusive to, the following courses:

a. DClinDent Orthodontics

b. MClinDent in Orthodontics

c. DClinDent Endodontics

d. MClinDent in Paediatric Dentistry

e. DClinDent Periodontics

f. MMedSci in Diagnostic Oral Pathology

g. DClinDent Prosthodontics
