University of Hertfordshire has achieved the top gold ranking in the Government’s Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) 2018. The University of Hertfordshire’s green campuses are located just 25 minutes from central London by train.

There’re amazing facilities including a full-scale replica Crown Court, multi-million-pound Science building, in-house flight simulators and £38m entertainment venue.

There’s over 800 courses to choose from including undergraduate, postgraduate, development, online distance learning and short courses.

The University is committed to helping students achieve their ambitions, and 96.5% of students are in employment or further study within 6 months of graduating. Overall student satisfaction is 83% according to the National Student Survey.

There are over 250 undergraduate courses available to study, along with the option of taking a joint honours degree in two similar or contrasting subjects. Modules are designed to teach you academic theory, along with the practical skills required for work. Several courses are also available to study part-time or online via distance learning.

You will be taught in lectures, seminars and tutorials and digital resources will be available via the online student network, StudyNet. Assessment methods vary between courses but could include essays, exams, coursework, group and research projects. To help you along with your studies there are two learning resource centres open 24/7 so you can work at a time that suits you. There are approximately 3,000 study spaces in areas equipped for silent study or group work.

The University of Hertfordshire are 2018 Varsity champions for the 7th consecutive year. Varsity is an annual sporting event between the University of Hertfordshire and the University of Bedfordshire over 17 competitive fixtures.
