Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus is the only international branch campus of Swinburne University of Technology Australia based in Melbourne.

The university is located in Kuching, the capital city of Sarawak in Malaysia. The city is easily accessible through direct flights from major cities in Malaysia, as well as international destinations from Pontianak, Brunei and Singapore.

The Sarawak campus offers quality Australian education at 1/3 the fees of studying abroad and a range of industry-applicable courses such as business, computing, design, engineering and science in foundation, degree, masters and PhD levels. Its degrees are identical to those of its home campus in Melbourne. So no matter which campus students choose, they earn an Australian qualification that is recognised worldwide.

The courses are recognised by professional bodies such as Engineers Australia, Australian Computer Society, CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). The university is also a CISCO Academy Partner.

The Sarawak campus is home to approximately 3,500 students from over 45 countries including Indonesia, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Germany, Australia, Sweden, Denmark and South Africa.

Flexible student transfer options are available for students interested in gaining exposure abroad. Degree students can transfer or go on an exchange programme to the Melbourne campus or opt to spend one or two semesters studying abroad at one of its partner institutions in South Korea or Germany.

Over the last few years, the university recorded graduate employability rates of more than 90% and in several business and engineering programmes, a 100% graduate employment rate.
