Tips Mengerjakan Soal Reading TOEFL

Kunci utama untuk berhasil dalam tes TOEFL Reading Comprehension adalah memahami struktur dan format tes secara mendalam. Teks Reading TOEFL sering kali memiliki tiga bagian utama yaitu Introduction (Pendahuluan), Body (Isi), Conclusion (Kesimpulan). Kamu bisa menggunakan teknik skimming dan scanning agar lebih cepat dan tepat dalam mengerjakan setiap soal.

Pertama cari tahu apa topik utama teks dengan membaca judul, subjudul, dan paragraf pertama. Lalu fokus pada kata kunci yang paling sering muncul dan simak informasi spesifik yang kita butuhkan.

Seringkali kalimat pembuka dan penutup setiap paragraf mengandung informasi penting pada soal. Lakukan simulasi tes TOEFL reading comprehension secara berkala dengan contoh soal yang ada dibawah.

Contoh Soal Reading TOEFL

Sebelum masuk ke bocoran soal reading TOEFL, kamu perlu memahami bahwa bagian ini terdiri dari 3 hingga 5 bacaan dengan kurang lebih 700 kata. Kamu harus menjawab 12-15 pertanyaan pada setiap bacaan.

Lebih lanjut, dalam pengerjaan soal reading TOEFL kamu akan mempunyai waktu 20 menit untuk membaca teks pertama dan menjawab pertanyaan. Kemudian 40 menit untuk membaca dan menjawab pertanyaan dari bacaan kedua dan ketiga. Durasi ini juga sama untuk bacaan keempat, kelima, dan seterusnya.
